‘The Halfway House Bar and Grill’ is located on the busy A16 halfway between Grimsby and Louth. Previously known as ‘the Granby Inn’.
Under new ownership it has now been refurbished and returned to its former self, we re-opened in January 2012 and became formally known as ‘The Halfway House’ which is what the locals have been calling it for years.
The Halfway House is a Steakhouse Pub, where the steaks are cooked by you on hot lava rocks. The Rock Grill is a fun, healthy, interactive dining experience that gives you complete control on how your meal is cooked. Presented to the table on volcanic rocks heated to a staggering 440°c, your meal maintains all its natural juices, nutrients and flavours, whilst you cook it to perfection.
All of our steaks are sourced from local butchers and are of the highest quality often from prime Scottish cattle. The Chefs are trained to the highest standards offering a full menu ranging from locally sourced fish, to imaginative vegetarian dishes as well as our delicious ‘Hot Rock’ steaks.
Our friendly well trained staff offer superb beers from a range of local, national and international breweries including the ever popular ‘Theakston’s Brewery’ and a full and comprehensive wine list.
Whether you are meeting friends for a drink and a pint of good Cask ale or looking for something exciting and a bit different to eat come and try the Halfway House. Families and people of all ages are welcome.
